SView ("we", "our", or "the App") is a photo and video layout tool that helps you create seamless carousels and videos for sharing. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
SView requests access to your photo library to import photos and videos for editing and to save exported results back to your library. Editing, trimming, previews, audio processing, and export happen on your device. SView does not upload your imported media or projects to its servers. When you choose to share an export, the iOS share sheet passes the files to the destination you select; that app or service handles them under its own privacy policy. Media stored in iCloud may be downloaded through Apple Photos when you choose it for import.
After initial setup and any iOS Photos prompt have finished, SView starts its online services and uses Firebase Authentication to sign in anonymously. When the sign-in succeeds, Firebase creates a randomly generated user identifier (UID). This identifier:
All subscription purchases, billing, renewals, refunds, and Family Sharing eligibility are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. SView determines Pro access on your device from Apple-verified StoreKit entitlements and does not store a separate subscription entitlement record in Firebase Firestore.
If you have turned on Usage Data, SView may record limited purchase-flow events:
SView's custom purchase-flow events do not include your transaction ID, original transaction ID, app account token, price, currency, payment details, or revenue. Firebase Analytics may separately generate standard StoreKit lifecycle events and associated product, currency, or value fields according to SDK and platform behavior. These events are controlled by the same Usage Data choice. App Store Connect remains our source of record for commercial subscription metrics.
Language and appearance preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.
If you turn on Usage Data during initial setup, or later enable Share Usage & Diagnostics in More, SView uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand which features are useful and where workflows fail. Analytics collection is disabled by default and the App works normally if you leave it off. You can change this choice at any time in More.
Usage Data never includes your photos, videos, audio, project content, filenames, or EXIF metadata.
This analytics data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. We do not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA).
SView uses the following third-party services provided by Google (Firebase):
SView also downloads fonts, frame assets, and help content from its Cloudflare-hosted content service. These requests may expose standard connection information, such as your IP address, to the delivery provider. They do not send your imported media or project content.

All in-app purchases and subscription billing are handled by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.
Your anonymous UID and any associated What's New like de-duplication record are retained until deletion is requested or the service record is removed under our retention practices. Analytics data already transmitted before you turn sharing off may remain in aggregated Firebase/GA4 reporting according to the configured retention period; turning sharing off stops new collection and resets the analytics data stored locally by the SDK. Uninstalling and reinstalling generally creates a new app instance and may create a new anonymous UID. Your subscription remains with your Apple ID and can be restored through StoreKit; SView does not restore it from a Firebase subscription database.
SView is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
