SView ("we", "our", or "the App") is a photography tool that helps you display wide-format photos on social platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Photos

SView requests access to your photo library solely to import photos for editing and to save exported results back to your library. Your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.

1.2 Anonymous Identifier

When you launch the App, we automatically create an anonymous, randomly generated user identifier (UID) via Firebase Authentication. This identifier:

If you purchase a Pro subscription, the following data is stored in our cloud database (Firebase Firestore), linked to your anonymous UID:

This data is used only to verify and restore your subscription status across reinstalls. No payment details are stored — all transactions are handled by Apple.

1.4 App Preferences

Language and appearance preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

All in-app purchases and subscription billing are handled by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information.

4. Data Retention

Your anonymous UID and subscription record are retained in our database as long as you have an active subscription, or until you request deletion. If you uninstall the App, a new anonymous UID will be created upon reinstall; however, if you had an active subscription, the previous record remains and can be restored via the "Restore Purchases" feature.

5. Children's Privacy

SView is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
